I gravitated to the show because of its title and their episode topics. I was intrigued by their recommendations on where to start with their show, the provided transcripts and how honest they were about audio issues and not letting that stop them from providing thought provoking conversations.
I kept listening because I learned from hosts Tristan Harris and Aza Raskin. I listen to podcasts to have my perspective shifted and learn something new about topics I thought I had a strong foundation on already or know nothing about. This show delivers on all accounts.
Created by the Center for Humane Technology to help answer the question, “How is technology both a symptom and a driver of broader social, political, and economic forces?”, this podcast made me think more about that question as I listened to each episode and after I stopped listening. If that does make a podcast worthy of being reviewed and rated in my tech section I don’t know what does.
I’m glad I found this podcast and will continue to listen to it. Hopefully they will find that Senior Audio Producer they are trying to hire that they mention in the October 18, 2021 episode. If they do, I will be listening to see where this show goes next. If you need a job in audio producing, reach out to them.
