The most recent addition to the list of annual Podcast Awards is The Ambies from Podcast
\nAcademy. The Podcast Academy was founded in 2020 and aims to elevate the status of podcasts and encourage excellence in audio entertainment.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Ambies Awards will take place Sunday, May 16 th at 8 pm ET via YouTube and
\nTwitch livestream. The awards cover 23 different categories and are chosen from a panel of 164 nominees.<\/p>\n

Donald Albright, Chairman of the Podcast Academy, announced:
\n\u201cToday, we celebrate the community with the announcement of our first-ever Ambies nominees. They are just as diverse as the creators, both in front of and behind the mic, and are reflective of the far-reaching medium. On behalf of the membership, we congratulate all of the nominees.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
