The host, Steven Johnson, is also the author of eleven books and host of the PBS series \u201cHow We Got To Now\u201d and of the podcast <\/span>American Innovations<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Steven is no stranger to sharing information about the history of health and medicine and the intersections of technology and society. In his blog, he writes, <\/span>\u201cToday, we find ourselves in a global health crisis that\u2026 presents new challenges to society on every level, from existential threat to\u2026 economic catastrophe\u2026 to the toll on our sanity.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Considering how his book, The Ghost Map, is a deep-dive into the history of the cholera epidemic, I\u2019d say Steven is uniquely qualified to examine the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/span><\/p>\n
